Abiotic Factor has 19 armor sets, and each one has a set bonus. A lot of those bonuses matter more than the armor numbers. We pulled every set from the game files, added up the armor for the base version of each piece, and listed what each bonus does in the game’s own words.

How set bonuses work

Most 4-piece sets have two tiers: a smaller bonus at 2 pieces and the full bonus at 4. The 3-piece sets have one bonus at 3 pieces. Interfector is the odd one out, with 4 pieces and a bonus at 3.

Some sets can also be upgraded. The files hold 44 upgraded pieces across Makeshift, F.O.R.G.E., Carapace, Maestro, Cascade and Crystalline. Upgraded pieces stay in the same set and have more armor, but the table below only counts base pieces so the sets compare fairly.
