Previously unknown to GATE, A299-E is an uncontained, gelatinous gastropodal creature believed to originate from Anteverse 299. Recent perforation events have resulted in the entity (and what is presumed to be a section of its hive) manifesting in the defunct mines region of the GATE Cascade Research Facility. The immense organism appears disoriented. No communication has been attempted, nor close study, but reports note its obsessive pursuit of nourishment, and a curious protruberance from its frontal skull.
