The intervals in the secondary signal layer are extremely regular, even conveniently so, as I may be able to nullify it. This would require recording, then phase-shifting the secondary layer - to invert it - and broadcasting the output. In theory this would cancel the secondary signal entirely, if performed at its source. There is one clear way to test this hypothesis.
