DESIGNATION: Crucis (AG/CA) CONTAINMENT PROTOCOL: While IS-0173-I requires no further containment procedures beyond those stipulated for all IS-0173 variants, researchers with access to heated protective wear are recommended to wear these whether the subject is conscious or not. These include battery-heated outer shell garments, cold-weather sportswear and, on at least one occasion, an EVA suit.
Unlocks after 200 kills: IS-0173-I's evolution extends considerably further than a fur coat. Brief field notes left by Dr. Derek Manse mention his impression that 'this creature and its progenitors' appear 'almost designed to alter themselves on demand.'
