Excusatus
To/From: Legate Samarkis, Divinitor Altussi
Divinitor, Inquisitor Ganis informs me that he has been promoted to the ranks of the Purgati. While this is surely a great honor, he wishes to submit a petitio excusationis, on the grounds that his existing research into the sangamor is of even greater importance to our brethren than service in that esteemed legion.
Noted Legate, and denied. A short term of service with the purgati is precisely what Inquisitor Ganis needs to galvanize him for further research into those parasites.
